Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

ITCloudNode provides cloud hosting services to legitimate businesses, developers, and teams. This policy exists to protect the reliability, security, and integrity of the platform for all users. Misuse of the platform harms other customers, exposes ITCloudNode to legal risk, and violates the trust that underpins our service.

2. Prohibited Content

The following types of content may not be hosted, distributed, or processed using ITCloudNode infrastructure:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits minors
• Content that incites violence, terrorism, or hatred based on race, religion, gender, nationality, or other protected characteristics
• Malware, ransomware, viruses, spyware, or any malicious code
• Pirated software, media, or other content that infringes intellectual property rights
• Fraudulent, deceptive, or phishing content designed to mislead users
• Content that violates the laws of your jurisdiction or ours

3. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are prohibited on ITCloudNode infrastructure:

• Spam: Sending unsolicited bulk email, SMS, or other communications
• Network abuse: Conducting port scans, denial-of-service attacks, or any form of network disruption against third parties
• Cryptomining: Running cryptocurrency mining operations without prior written agreement
• Credential stuffing: Automated attacks against authentication systems
• Illegal data collection: Scraping or harvesting personal data without lawful basis
• Proxy/VPN abuse: Operating anonymisation services primarily for circumventing law enforcement
• Reselling without authorisation: Offering ITCloudNode resources to third parties as your own hosting service without written permission

4. Resource Usage

Your use of platform resources must stay within the limits of your plan. Fair use applies — workloads that consistently consume resources disproportionate to their plan tier may be throttled or required to upgrade.

If your application experiences unexpected traffic spikes, contact us and we will work with you to scale appropriately. We will not suspend accounts for genuine organic traffic growth without notice.

5. Security Responsibilities

You are responsible for the security of the applications you deploy. This includes:

• Keeping application dependencies and runtimes updated with security patches
• Securing your access credentials and not sharing account access inappropriately
• Configuring your applications to avoid exposing sensitive data through public endpoints
• Promptly responding to security notifications from ITCloudNode

We reserve the right to isolate or suspend workloads that are actively compromised and posing a risk to other platform users, with notification provided as soon as practicable.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of a violation of this policy — including content hosted on ITCloudNode that should not be — please report it to contact@itcloudnode.com with as much detail as possible. We take all reports seriously and investigate promptly.

7. Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in:

• A formal warning and requirement to remove violating content or stop the activity
• Temporary suspension of the relevant workload or account
• Permanent termination of account without refund for serious or repeated violations
• Referral to relevant law enforcement authorities where legally required

We will always attempt to notify you before taking enforcement action, except where immediate action is required to protect the platform or other users.
